Albert Einstein kept a copy of THE SECRET DOCTRINE by H.P. Blavatsky on his desk. He was never without it according to a niece.
The warnings are well-known not to read Madame Blavatsky's words too quickly. Since I've taught myself speed-reading, I'm trying to be careful with this esoteric tome. I can tell you, fellow readers, that upon absorbing a few pages, I tend to float outside of my body, peer over my shoulder then passively observe while the words are whispered into my mind like a hushed river...
At any rate, I guess if you find me wandering—barefoot, drool dripping—you'll know I've shot my wad and read this down in one gulp.
