In the mid '90s, Bulfinch Press/Little, Brown & Company put out a little Black Book by Robert Mapplethorpe—pocket-sized. I'm fond of the well-dressed gentleman in the three-piece suit. I wonder if Mapplethorpe would have enjoyed the chiaroscuro of this photograph.
